"People Need the Lord"

*Invocation (Unison)

O God, the heavens and the earth and all good things are your creation. You formed man and woman to keep you company because you were lonely. We mess up Lord and you forgive us over and over again. We put idols and things ahead of you even though you warned us long ago that this should not be.  So stubborn are we! You Lord have bestowed a title of honor on each of us though we have not acknowledged you. You are the Lord and there is no other. You O Lord have swept away all of our offenses and redeemed us; be with us now as we worship you and praise your Holy Name.

               Amen.

WE TALK TO GOD THROUGH PRAYER

Praises, Joys and Concerns

Pastoral Prayer and Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,

the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
