People: So that our spirits may be refreshed and our lives filled with joy and praise.

*HYMN OF PRAISE     "Lord of the Dance"    UMH #261

 *INVOCATION (Unison)

We come today united not by blood, race or nationality but by love — a love that places the “you” and “we” above the “I” and “me.” A love so great it must originate from the source of all love. We, your people, O God, come seeking your love. A love more powerful than all our hurts, all our pain. A love that meets us where we are and calls us to more than we can imagine. A love that can change our lives forever. Amen.

WE TALK TO GOD THROUGH PRAYER

PRAISES, JOYS AND CONCERNS

Pastoral Prayer and Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
