*CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: God calls us to a feast!
People: The table is set, and we will come from east and west,
from north and south to sit at Christ’s table.

Leader: Compassion, love, and grace are poured out like fine wine.
People: We come to share our stories and Your story,
to share our hope and our pain, to share our wisdom and our laughter.

Leader: The table is set, so come let us worship God together!

*Opening Prayer: by Safiyah Fosua
A Prayer for World Communion Sunday
Leader: Jesus prayed that we might be one.
People: One in spirit
Leader: One in mission
People: In union and communion with each other and with You.
Leader: Today, God, we confess fumblings and failures in accomplishing unity, as we set aside yet another day to remind ourselves of the task.
People: On this World Communion Sunday, give us eyes to recognize your reflection in the eyes of Christians everywhere.
Leader: Give us a mind to accept and celebrate our differences.
People: Give us a heart big enough to love your children everywhere.
Leader: We thank you for setting a table with space enough for us all!
People: Amen.

WE TALK TO GOD THROUGH PRAYER

Praises, Joys and Concerns

Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
