Henderson United Methodist Church distributes food to families in need in the area.     

Everyone needs to fill out a 2017 - 2018 form

Henderson food pantry is open to serve those families who may need a little help in this difficult economy.
The people running the pantry are all volunteers working in this ministry.
Each food pantry has a designated area of the city to serve so some people might not be eligible to receive food from our pantry even though they may have in the past.
Henderson's designated area is

(1800 - 2800) East Avenue   (from East 18th to East 28th street)
(1000 - 2300) Buffalo Road (from East Ave to McClelland Ave)
East 18th St (from East Avenue to McClelland Ave)
East 16th St (from  Downing Ave to McClelland Ave)
East 28th Street to East 38th Street  (Davison Ave to McClelland Ave)
East 12th St to East 38th Street (Camphausen to McClelland Ave)

East 10th Street  (Downing Ave to Marne Road)
Cranch Ave to and Franklin Ave
East Lake Road to Lakeside Drive

And the roads within these boundaries.


Please have proof of residency when you come to apply.

Requirements are to bring proof for each person living at your address when signing up.
One family per address.

Please circle the COMPLETE LINE that applies to your Household Size, understanding you must be at, or below, the income level indicated to be eligible for program benefits.
( Single person making less than $348 a week ; family of 4 is $710 a week.)

Those who live outside our boundaries should call Second Harvest food pantry at (814) 459-3663 to find which food pantry is in their area.

 

Our distribution area is in the Ministry building.
Entrance is on the side up the ramp.
Please do not stand on the ramp
before 1:00pm !

 

Please exit through the front doors
and have a blessed day.


We offer coffee, tea and hot chocolate
while you wait.


 

 


Once you are signed in,  a volunteer will escort you
around and you can choose from a variety of foods.
