Arlene Agnes Allen, age 79, passed away at her residence in Erie on Sunday, October 5, 2014 of natural causes. She was born in Cleveland, OH on November 19, 1934,
daughter of the late Alex and Margaret Carrick Pringle.

Arlene was a graduate of East High School, Class of 1952. She organized and led her high school class reunions. She was with American Home Toy Party's, and was previously associated with Rubber Maid products having home home parties. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, volunteered at the Boys Club where she taught ceramics and was a supporter of the lower East Side Federation.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert F. Allen and a daughter, Sheryl Allen.

Arlene is survived by one daughter, Sue Chojnacki (Ed) of State College, PA; four sons, Lance Allen (Kanako) of Honolulu, Hawaii, Lon Allen, Lee Jay Allen,
Lex Allen (Jacqueline), all of Erie; two sisters, Dora Passerotti of Millcreek Twp ., Donna Drake of Pleasantville, PA; one brother, Alex Pringle of Florida.
Arlene is also survived by six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may attend a memorial service performed by Pastor H. Ray Speakman, on Friday at 1 PM at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd.
Interment will follow in Lakeside Cemetery.

we sure had a lot of good time at Rockdale. with Maryann strange. Arlene show me how to make cookie. to this day
I still use her recipe I remember her and jerry getting water from the last pond and making coffee it was the best coffee we ever had.
 it was a life time of adventure when you were around her.
