Terence Elliott Ponder, Sr., age 43, of Walkersville Md. and formerly of Erie, died Monday, August 11, 2014.
Born in Erie on June 18, 1971, a son of Willie Larkin and the late Laverne Copeland Ponder.

Terence was a graduate of Tech-Memorial High School, Class of 1989 and completed his education at WRITCO Technical School. He worked as a Telecommunications Analyst. He was an avid Steelers and Yankees fan, but loved all sports, video games, and especially spending time with his family. Terence was fond of ending all communication with a quote from Anthony Brandt: "Other things may change us, but we start and end with family."
Survivors include his five children, Savonna Nicole Ponder, Breanne Elease Ponder-Drew, Terence Elliott Ponder, Jr., Trevon Elliott Ponder and Samari James Ponder; his father, Willie L. Larkin; his siblings, William Earl Ponder, Jr. (Mary), Steffanie Bush, Jeffrey S. Ponder, Dupree Simmons, and Danielle Beason. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Laid to rest in Erie Cemetery..
